GRAS Fire Alert in the Fire Season

Factors like low humidity, high winds and extreme temperatures contribute fires rage across a landscape, especially in America. In South America some fires occur naturally while most of them are set deliberately to clear land for crops or pasture. The wildfire season runs usually from July till November, with its peak of activity in September and October.

Within the GRAS Tool the user can call up the latest and historical fires, but also register of an e-mail alert. The user will be informed based on daily updates, in case a fire was identified within an area individually defined by himself.
